The Company  ·  Our story

Thirty-five years, one rule.

Finish what you start. That is the whole of it. It is the sentence the firm was built on in October 1990, and the reason developers hand us a second tower without going back out to tender.

01From the Managing Director

A note on
thirty-five years.

Est. October 1990
New Delhi

JD Constructions started in October 1990 with one rule that has not changed since: finish what you start.

In thirty-five years the industry has transformed beyond recognition. Reinforced concrete towers replaced low-rises. MIVAN aluminium shuttering compressed slab cycles from years to weeks. Safety standards that were aspirational a decade ago are now baseline. And every cycle has brought new clients, new partnerships and new lessons that no textbook teaches.

What hasn't changed is the discipline behind a single slab pour at five in the morning, the negotiation with a vendor at midnight, and the relationship with a foreman who's been with us for eighteen years.

Today we run eight active sites across Uttar Pradesh and the Delhi NCR, for developers who have, in many cases, returned for a second or a third project. We are honoured by the trust of our clients and proud of every project we've handed over.

06Site Discipline

How a JDCPL
site runs.

Three standing disciplines, applied identically on a ₹7 crore finishing package and a ₹146 crore tower. The full protocols run to six points each and live in the profile.

Safety.

Every worker who arrives on a site goes home the same day.

Site induction is mandatory

Every worker — direct or sub-contracted — goes through a documented site induction before lifting a tool. Refresher every 90 days.

PPE is provided, not requested

Hard hats, safety harnesses, full-grip footwear, gloves and ear protection issued at site entry. Random compliance audits weekly.

Incident reporting is blameless

Near-misses are logged and reviewed every Saturday by the site engineer and project manager. The protocol is updated, not the person blamed.

Quality.

Most defects on a high-rise are not built — they are allowed.

In-house concrete testing

On-site lab with compression testing machines, cube moulds, slump cones and aggregate gradation kit. Every pour cubed and tested at 7-day and 28-day intervals.

Three-stage formwork checks

Line, level and plumb verified at three independent stages before concrete is approved. Documented sign-off by site engineer and senior supervisor.

Snag-free handover protocol

Internal snag list closed before client walkthrough. Finishing trades audited room-by-room. Defect liability period serviced with a named site engineer.

Environment.

The loudest, dustiest intervention in any neighbourhood, run quietly.

Dust suppression is continuous

Wheel-wash facilities at every entry. Construction dust covered with green netting at all heights. Water sprinklers across active levels twice daily.

Water is recycled, not wasted

Curing water captured and re-used. Concrete washouts contained, never discharged. Site runoff filtered through silt traps before exit to drains.

Scrap is sorted, not dumped

Steel offcuts returned for re-fabrication. Cement bags compacted. Plastic and packaging separated for authorised recyclers. We weigh what leaves the site.
